Meet the Team

Array Studio has been founded in September 2001 by Slobodan Kovačević and Predrag Kanazir as a loose team of freelancers. Over time practice and clients showed us that we need a more compact team - we complied.

Today, Array Studio is a small compact team with three key people, who are very passionate about their work. We are all seasoned web professionals that have been around the web from 1996. Over the years we have developed diverse and complementing skill sets enabling us to give the absolute best to our clients.

Slobodan Kovačević, CEO & Technical Director, Founding Partner

It all started in early 90's when Slobodan began creating short animated movies. Soon he realized that severe lack of graphical talent limits your ability to create animations... So he embraced the geek within and started programming. From early beginnings in BASIC, C and Pascal to latest cutting edge technologies using PHP, Ruby and Java, he is always looking for something new to try out. These days he keeps himself busy with technical issues and leaves creative stuff to people who can find two matching colors. Slobodan also maintains a personal site with a tumblelog.

Predrag Kanazir, Creative Director, Founding Partner

Back in 1998 he couldn't find scale option in Photoshop. Now he has over 8 years of experience in designing and coding web pages. Few years ago, his key goal was to create 100% cross-browser pixel-precise pages — now he bothers us with Web 2.0 concept and clean W3C compliant code. One way or another he's a pain in the ass.

Jelena Pavlović, Project Manager, Developer

She joined our team back in 2003. Her first project was retyping few hundreds of boring PDF files to HTML. Now, she is our highly skilled server side programmer and our Project Manager. In her free time, she is a Team Leader at SitePoint Forums and she is taking every opportunity to remind us of that. At the end, she was the first geek girl in our team.
